Allow me to start this article with two reasons why I choose to write this article. Truly one of my goals in writing this article is to help increase your understanding of how powerful lifestyle choices can be in affecting your health, weight and wellbeing. Another goal is to strengthen the communication between you and your doctor.

In this context, you may wish to share this article with any doctor or dietician. Discuss it with your doctor so that both of you can work together more effectively to keep you achieve greater health, ideal weight and happiness.

Enough of talking, shall we begin to consider seriously the dietary pit falls we may be exposed to now or some other times of our life. Ok? Let’s tread now carefully.

Dietary Pit Fall No. 1 Places:

What you are about to read is no big secrets, no great luck nor grand slam home run! It is just this. To be brutally honest, establishments that stock candy, ice cream, snack foods, or pizza are at the top of the list.

These foods, rich in carbohydrates, are classic temptations for the carbohydrate addict. Food stores in general may entice you; but-specialty shops are the downfall of many dieters.

The "just-one-cookie" philosophy is deadly: beware the bakery, cookie stand, or coffee shop. The produce or fruit seller offers another danger, selling fruits rich in the simple sugar, fructose. On some city streets, the pretzel wagon, and ice cream vendor offer additional temptations to the carbohydrate addict.

Dietary Pit Fall No. 2 Situations:

Consider this scenario! Your boss hands you a letter to be typed, five minutes before your lunch break. It's an imposition, one that makes' you cranky and irritated. Perhaps it's-an excuse, too, to break the rules and eat what you know you not supposed to eat.

If you shop and cook for your family, you may find the temptation to cheat constant and overwhelming. Special strategies and planning in the pages that follow will help you to cope successfully.

Going on vacation is a treat for all of us but, unfortunately, time off from work or away from home usually means a whole new range of temptations. Countless dieters have found themselves abandoning their good habits in the face of the chance to try new foods or re-experience favorite ones- Do these rationales sound familiar? "It's only once a year. ..." or "Vacations are different ..."

Parties and celebrations of all kinds can be hazardous to your diet. Ironically, the greatest, temptations to the carbohydrate addict often aren't the traditional feasts. Thanksgiving dinner, for example, can be the Reward Meal for the day, so it may present no particular danger to the discipline of the diet. But extended parties of many kinds -at the office, to celebrate a special holiday-may present foods and drinks to trap the most disciplined dieter.

That’s a mouthful isn’t it? Any questions so far? If no, then let’s continue maneuver the next pitfall! Ok?

Dietary Pit Fall No. 3. Stresses:

Here is the danger part! Simple fatigue may make you crave a pick-me-up snack. Worry, too, causes many people to feed themselves-almost unconsciously-food they ordinarily take care to avoid. Stress, in the form of pressure, frustration, overwork, or repressed anger can have the same effect.

Loneliness, boredom, a fear of failure, the trapped sensation that comes from unwanted events, even pain and illness-all these common stresses can provoke the dieter to break the regimen that, on another day, seemed so easy.

What you reading on the next pitfall is a no-brainer! It does not require a rocket scientist to understand it. Read for yourself and you will agree with me! Ok?

Dietary Pit Fall No. 5. Thoughts:

Luckily for you! Our ability to think elevates us above lower animals. That also means, however, that there are times when we run amuck. And we talk ourselves into things.

Under any circumstance, this thought is dangerous. It's based on the old dietary wisdom that only total daily calorie count matters-and it disregards the idea that you may have an addiction to carbohydrates that can be triggered by a small amount of the addictive sub stance

.

If you find yourself tempted by these little voices, face up to the challenge. If the thoughts are persistent, you may be eating carbohydrates more frequently than once a day, perhaps without knowing it. Examine your food selections to be sure.

The last pitfall may be the last but it is no way, the least. Without further ado, let continue!

Dietary Pit Fall No 5. People Around Us.

Trust me, it is often said that you will become like the people you are with most of the time. There is a common saying that ‘Birds of feather flocks together" It is a true axiom! If you mix with fat people, you will adopt their excessive eating habit. And will become fat yourself. Over the years of my dieting days, I have observed that the people are this! Slim and healthy people are very careful with their eating habits. Hence make it a point that we should be with the people you should seen with.

If you want to soar like an eagle, then don’t hang around with turkeys that are always scraping the ground zero. A word of advice would be to join a group of ardent weight watchers Or you could enroll with an active gym so that not only you can exercise away your unnecessary fats, you will be encouraged. Simple! It’s It not?

By the way, if you must remember anything from this article, remember this paragraph. Ok? Then let’s recoup and see where we are now. Again, the pitfall lies firstly in the places we visit. Secondly, the situations we are subjected to. Thirdly, the mental stresses we suffer inside us. Fourthly our unhealthy thoughts we imagine. And lastly the people around us.

Having said that, let’s take a minute to let that sink in. Such simple ideas is ever so easy to skip over I make no apology for repeating them again, if I have to. Agreed?

Correct me if I am wrong! I am fortunate to be friends of some of Malaysia's best weight losers and etc. The thing that separates them from those who desires success on weight loss . . . . but do not achieve, it's just one thing. And it's not intelligence. It's not desire. It's not belief. It’s The willingness to take positive action. Just believe what you have read. And do it. Your first step is an important one on the road to greater success for yourself. So engage yourself fully to keep yourself thin and beautiful. Don’t you think so? Thank you!
